Shepherd’s Tree Game Lodge is a magnificent lodge concession awarded by the North West Parks and Tourism Board within the existing Pilanesberg Game Reserve. It lies in an exclusive-use zone in the south-western portion of the 57,250ha Big 5 and malaria-free Reserve, offering commanding views of the distant bushveld amphitheater.

Shepherd’s Tree Game Lodge offers 26 Standard Rooms (or 13 Family Suites), 4 spacious Executive Suites and 1 Villa with 2 bedrooms and private Boma which has a plunge pool on a spacious deck.

A gourmet restaurant serves the most delectable cuisine, while a casual lounge and bar provide magnificent vistas of the impressive landscape. A variety of dinner experiences are available upon request (boma dinners, wine cellar and bush dinners).
GAME DRIVES:
Guests can enjoy 2 game drives daily which are conducted in the Pilanesberg National Park during the morning and afternoon when you are guided by your game ranger in a open 10 seater game viewing vehicle. The duration of the game drives are between three and fours hours, with a sundowner stop at sunset and a coffee stop in the morning.
